🔹️Salted water, for boiling
▶️For garnish:
🔹️Chopped fresh parsley
🔹️Red pepper flakes (optional)
👉Instructions:
✅️1. Cook the pasta:
Boil the pasta in salted water according to package directions. Drain, toss with a little olive oil, and set aside.
✅️2. Sear the protein:
Season the shrimp and steak slices with Cajun seasoning. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over high heat.
Sear the steak slices for 1–2 minutes per side until browned, then remove and set aside.
In the same pan, cook the shrimp for 1–2 minutes per side until pink. Set aside with the steak.
✅️3. Make the Alfredo sauce:
In the same skillet, melt 2 tbsp of butter.
Add the garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
Stir in the Parmesan cheese and cook until the sauce thickens.
Season with salt, pepper, and a pinch of nutmeg (if using).
✅️4. Combine:
Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to coat.
Stir in the cooked steak and shrimp. Warm everything through on low heat.
✅️5. Serve:
Plate into shallow bowls. Garnish with chopped parsley and a sprinkle of red pepper flakes if desired.
👉3 Tips:
↪️1. Creamier Sauce: Add 2 tbsp of cream cheese while making the Alfredo sauce for extra richness.
↪️2. Milder Option: Swap the steak with grilled chicken for a lighter, gentler flavor.
↪️3. Make It Spicy: Add more Cajun seasoning or a dash of hot sauce if you love a kick!
