Slow Cooker Mushroom and Gruyère Crustless Quiche 🍳🧀🍄
A rich, cheesy, and comforting dish perfect for breakfast, brunch, or even dinner — made easily in the slow cooker!
👉 Ingredients:
◾️ 2 tbsp olive oil
◾️ 1 lb mushrooms, sliced
◾️ 1 small onion, finely chopped
◾️ 1 cup Gruyère cheese, grated
◾️ 6 large eggs
◾️ 1 cup whole milk
◾️ 1/2 cup heavy cream
◾️ 1 tsp salt
◾️ 1/2 tsp black pepper
◾️ 1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves
🔹 Directions:
▶️ Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add mushrooms & onions, cook until softened and mushrooms release juices (about 10 min).
▶️ Grease the inside of your slow cooker with butter or spray.
▶️ In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, cream, salt & pepper.
▶️ Spread mushroom-onion mixture evenly in the slow cooker.
▶️ Sprinkle Gruyère cheese over the vegetables.
▶️ Pour egg mixture on top, then sprinkle thyme leaves.
▶️ Cover and cook on LOW for 4–5 hours until set and edges are lightly browned.
▶️ Let cool a few minutes before slicing & serving.
