Creamy Garlic Mushroom Chicken ๐๐๐ง
Rich, savory, and creamy — perfect for a comforting dinner!
๐ Ingredients (4 servings):
◾️ 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
◾️ Salt & black pepper, to taste
◾️ 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
◾️ 3–4 garlic cloves, minced
◾️ 1 cup mushrooms, sliced (button, cremini, or your choice)
◾️ 1 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half for lighter version)
◾️ ½ cup chicken broth
◾️ ½ tsp dried thyme or 1 tsp fresh thyme
◾️ ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
◾️ Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
๐น Instructions:
▶️ Prepare chicken: Season chicken with salt & pepper. Heat oil or butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken 5–6 min per side until golden & cooked through. Remove & set aside.
▶️ Sautรฉ mushrooms & garlic: In the same skillet, add more butter if needed. Cook mushrooms until browned (~5 min). Add garlic, cook 1 min until fragrant.
▶️ Make creamy sauce: Pour in chicken broth, scraping browned bits. Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan, and thyme. Simmer 3–5 min until slightly thickened.
▶️ Combine & finish: Return chicken to skillet, spoon sauce over each piece. Cook 2–3 min to heat through & meld flavors.
▶️ Serve: Garnish with chopped parsley. Serve with rice, pasta, or mashed potatoes.
