🧀 Garlic Shrimp Alfredo Lasagna

A rich and cheesy lasagna layered with tender shrimp, creamy Alfredo sauce, and soft pasta sheets. Perfect for impressing guests or enjoying a cozy indulgence at home.


🛒 Ingredients


🔥For the shrimp filling:


1 lb shrimp (peeled and deveined)


2 tbsp butter


3 garlic cloves, minced


Salt and black pepper, to taste


1/2 tsp paprika (optional)


1 tbsp lemon juice



🔥For the Alfredo sauce:


4 tbsp butter


4 garlic cloves, minced


1/4 cup all-purpose flour


3 cups whole milk (or 2 cups milk + 1 cup heavy cream)


1 cup grated Parmesan cheese


Salt, pepper, and a pinch of nutmeg



🔥For assembling the lasagna:


9 lasagna noodles, cooked and drained


2 cups ricotta or cottage cheese


1 egg


2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese


1/2 cup grated Parmesan


1 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)



👩‍🍳 Instructions


✅️1. Cook the shrimp:

Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.

Add shrimp, season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook for 2–3 minutes or until pink.

Stir in lemon juice. Remove from heat. Roughly chop most of the shrimp, leaving a few whole for the top.


✅️2. Make the Alfredo sauce:

In a saucepan, melt butter and sauté garlic.

Whisk in the flour to form a roux; cook for 1–2 minutes.

Gradually whisk in the milk (or milk + cream) and let simmer until thickened.

Add Parmesan, season with salt, pepper, and a pinch of nutmeg.


✅️3. Prepare the cheese mixture:

In a bowl, mix ricotta (or cottage cheese) with the egg, salt, and pepper.


✅️4. Assemble the lasagna:

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Grease a baking dish, then layer in this order:


Alfredo sauce

Lasagna noodles

Ricotta mixture

Chopped shrimp

Mozzarella


Repeat the layers, ending with a final layer of noodles, Alfredo sauce, and whole shrimp on top.

Sprinkle with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan.

Cover with foil and bake for 25–30 minutes.

Uncover and broil for 3–5 minutes until golden and bubbling.

Garnish with parsley before serving.
