Easy Chicken Curry with Mayflower Curry Mix

If you’re looking for an easy, flavorful dish that feels like a warm hug, this Chicken Curry made with Mayflower curry powder is perfect!

👉Ingredients:

◾️500g diced chicken breast

◾️1 large onion, chopped

◾️2 handfuls of chopped mushrooms

◾️1 cup peas (added in the last 30 minutes)

◾️Half a box of Mayflower Medium Curry Mix

◾️Half a box of Mayflower Extra Hot Curry Mix

◾️500ml cold water

◾️Cooked white rice for serving

👉Directions:

✅️1. In a saucepan, mix the curry powder with 500ml cold water until smooth.

✅️2. Heat the sauce gently on the hob, stirring until it begins to thicken slightly.

✅️3. In the slow cooker, add the diced chicken, chopped onion, and mushrooms.

✅️4. Pour the warm curry sauce over the ingredients and stir gently to combine.

✅️5. Cook on HIGH for 2 hours, then on LOW for 1 more hour.

✅️6. In the last 30 minutes, remove the lid to help thicken the sauce and stir in the peas.

✅️7. Serve hot with fluffy white rice. (There’s rice in the bowl somewhere — it’s just hidden under all that goodness!)

👉5 Tips for Perfect Chicken Curry:

▶️1. Dice the chicken evenly so it cooks at the same rate.

▶️2. Stir the sauce constantly while heating to prevent lumps.

▶️3. Use fresh mushrooms for the best texture and flavor.

▶️4. Adjust the heat by changing the ratio of medium and extra hot curry mix.

▶️5. Take the lid off the slow cooker toward the end if you want a thicker, richer sauce.

◾️This easy chicken curry is full of bold flavors and requires minimal effort.
