Sponge Cake with Strawberries – Ready for the Oven in 5 Minutes
👉Ingredients:
↪️4 eggs (separated into yolks and whites)
↪️1 cup sugar (200 ml)
↪️1 packet vanilla sugar
↪️1 cup oil (200 ml)
↪️1 cup water (200 ml)
↪️1½ cups flour
↪️1 packet baking powder
↪️Fruit of your choice (strawberries, cherries, etc.)
↪️Powdered sugar for dusting
👉Preparation:
✅️1. First, separate the egg yolks from the whites.
✅️2. Beat the 4 egg yolks with the sugar and vanilla sugar until thick and foamy.
✅️3. Gradually add the oil and water while continuing to beat.
✅️4. Gently fold in the flour mixed with the baking powder.
✅️5. Beat the egg whites until stiff, then carefully fold them into the batter.
✅️6. Pour the batter into a small, greased baking tray or cake pan (this helps the cake stay fluffy and not too thin).
✅️7. Place the fruit on top of the batter.
✅️8. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (about 350°F) for about 30 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
