๐น️ Slow Cooker Cabbage, Sausage, and Potatoes ๐ฒ
A hearty, cozy meal that’s super easy to prepare!
✅️ Ingredients:
๐ 1 lb smoked sausage or kielbasa, sliced
๐ 4 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
๐ 1 small head of cabbage, chopped
๐ 1 medium onion, sliced
๐ 3 cloves garlic, minced
๐ 1 cup chicken broth (or water)
๐ 1/2 tsp salt (to taste)
๐ 1/4 tsp black pepper
๐ 1 tsp smoked paprika (optional)
๐ 1/2 tsp dried thyme
๐ 1 tbsp olive oil
๐ Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
๐ Crusty bread (for serving)
✅️ Instructions:
◾️ Heat olive oil in a skillet and brown the sausage slices for 3–4 minutes.
◾️ In the slow cooker, layer potatoes, cabbage, onion, and garlic. Place sausage on top.
◾️ Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and thyme. Pour in chicken broth.
◾️ Cover and cook on Low for 6–7 hours or High for 3–4 hours.
◾️ Stir gently before serving, garnish with parsley, and enjoy with bread.
