👉Ingredients:
◾️3 lbs beef short ribs
◾️2 tbsp olive oil
◾️1 large onion, sliced
◾️4 cloves garlic, minced
◾️1 cup beef broth
◾️1 cup red wine (or extra broth)
◾️1/2 cup tomato paste
◾️1/4 cup soy sauce
◾️1/4 cup brown sugar
◾️2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
◾️2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
◾️1 tsp dried thyme
◾️1 tsp smoked paprika
◾️Salt & black pepper to taste
◾️Chopped fresh parsley (garnish)
👉Instructions:
✅️1. Sear the Ribs: Heat oil in a skillet. Season ribs with salt & pepper. Brown all sides (3–4 min each). Set aside.
✅️2. Build the Crockpot Base: Add onions and garlic to the crockpot. Place ribs on top.
✅️3. Mix the Sauce: In a bowl, combine broth, wine, tomato paste, soy sauce, brown sugar, Worcestershire, vinegar, thyme, paprika, salt & pepper. Pour over ribs.
✅️4. Cook Low & Slow: Cover and cook—low for 7–8 hrs or high for 4–5 hrs—until ribs are tender.
✅️5. Serve: Spoon sauce over ribs and garnish with parsley.
