🚨Black Pepper Chicken
◾️A quick and flavorful stir-fry that’s perfect for busy nights!
👉Ingredients:
🔸️🔸️For the chicken:
↪️1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
↪️2 tbsp soy sauce
↪️1 tbsp cornstarch
↪️1 tbsp vegetable oil (for cooking)
🔸️🔸️For the stir-fry:
↪️1 tbsp vegetable oil
↪️1 bell pepper (any color), sliced
↪️1 onion, sliced
↪️2–3 garlic cloves, minced
↪️1 tsp fresh ginger, grated or minced
↪️1/2 tsp black pepper (or to taste)
↪️2 tbsp soy sauce
↪️1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional)
↪️Chopped green onions for garnish
👉Instructions:
✅️1. Marinate the chicken:
In a bowl, mix the chicken with soy sauce and cornstarch until evenly coated. Let it sit for 15–30 minutes.
✅️2. Cook the chicken:
Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken and cook for 5–7 minutes, until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
✅️3. Stir-fry the veggies:
In the same pan, add another tablespoon of oil. Add bell pepper, onion, garlic, and ginger. Stir-fry for 3–4 minutes until slightly tender but still crisp.
✅️4. Combine and season:
Return the chicken to the pan. Add black pepper, soy sauce, and oyster sauce (if using). Stir everything together and cook for another 2 minutes until heated through.
✅️Serve hot with rice or noodles.
